Once the scans are complete this application also provides options to see output of the scan, port and host information which shows the information about the open/closed ports of the target system along with the information about services, protocols regarding the open/closed ports, host details like MAC address of the system. The advantage of these profiles is that we don’t need to remember the commands to run the specific nmap scans, instead we can just select one of the profiles and just hit scan button to perform the scan. Using Zenmap, once we can specify the targets it provides us options to choose scan profiles which are already inbuilt into the application like quick scan, intense scan etc. It’s very simple and user friendly application which can be installed on operating systems like Windows, Linux, Mac OS. Zenmap is actually the interactive interface for the nmap.
